Children behave, that's what they say when we're together...

and watch how you play, they don't understand what we're doing!
Oh my that was on the radio this morning, been stuck in my head all day! I suppose it's just one of those things, you try to get it out and you just can't! It's been bugging me a little bit!

So today at work was fine, another early finish, you gotta love training and it being all over the shop! lol We get to spend a lot of time chatting with the other people in the group, which is really nice, because obviously we have to get too know them as we'll all be working together!

I'm seriously lacking on stuff to say right now, so I'm off to go find something to talk about tomorrow!

Me talking pictures of my cats! =)

I took some pictures of my puddy tats, so I thought I'd share with you all! =)

This is Howie, he is huge, but only a year and a half old, and he's not stopped growing yet!

And these two are of poppy she is Howie's mum. She's so much smaller, and people always get confused because she's half the size of her son! lol

An old man turned 98, won the lottery and died the next day...

Blogs title from Alanis Morrisette - Ironic, Oh those of you who know me well will know this already, but you should definitely check it out, if you've not heard it, because you've been living under a rock or something! Seriously this is a over played song!

So back at work today, had a day starting at 10am, finishing at 4pm, and today we learnt about, policy wording, woah it was totally amazing! lol Seriously, I can't tell you how riveting it was, I nearly passed out a few times today, plus we sat in a dark room, so we could see the projector, so I spent most of the time with a headache! Lame =(

So right now, I'm watching the simpsons and sitting next to my wonderful fiancé, he has been so supportive of me over the past few weeks, driving me too and from work, and I love him so much, sorry to be gushy, but I suppose I can be sometimes, as long as my whole blog isn't on the topic of me loving him! heh! He is the most amazing man, and he is everything that I could ever wish for in a partner (and eventually in a husband)!

When I think of more to say I'll be back, probably today, when I figure out what it is I want to rant about! =)
See you soon

Attention attention, may I have all your eyes and ears...

Lol, Yay for random song lyrics, seriously, if your interested that comes from The academy is... - Attention attention.

Right, so today I slept till 1pm, so i've not really been up to much, so I'm going to use today's blog to tell you what i've found using stumbleupon which you should all go get, because it's awesome! =) and you can give me a big thumbs up! =) Go on, you know you want too!

Okay so first of all I will start with a video now this video, in my opinion is the video to end all videos, you'd thing that these people have better things to do with their time, but apparently not! lol, well I loved it, let me know what you think!

And this is just a silly site and it tells you what was at number one when you were born I happen to know what was number one on my birthday, because my mum remembers, it was you win again by the bee gees, I was so not impressed, but what can you do? But this is the first one online that has given the correct answer, but you should check it out! And it does the chart for England and the US, so it'll tell you what else was at number one across the ocean! =)

And finally a news story this is a story about snails, who have been subject to graffiti by a London artist! I love this, it's such a random thing, but so well done, although I don't know enough about the snails to know if it's bad for them, I think it's an awesome comment on today's graffiti artists!

And that's my blog entry for today, hope you enjoy those links, and I shall hope fully see you all tomorrow! =)

Breathe in for luck...

Well today has been eventful... I went to work at 9.30 am and finished work at 12.30pm, pretty short day, we didn't even have lunch at work, was pretty awesome to be honest, and we still had a 20 min break in the middle, I have loved this first training week, has been so chilled out, and on Monday we don't even start until 10am! I have also applied to be a first aider so that's also pretty awesome!

I don't have much else to say on the work matter and the day is by no means over, I think we might have friends over, I'm not 100% sure though as nobody has actually confirmed, they have just said "maybe" so maybe we will, maybe we won't! lol

So, instead of boring you senseless I am going to talk about e-relationships, as you know, I have a fiancé, he's awesome, and I love living with him, and we actually met through the Internet, now I know that sounds clichéd or whatever but actually not on a dating site, and we only spoke briefly online before we actually met up, because it was an open invitation to alternative people in our local area, only about 5 people turned up, but it as a good night out, and I met the love of my life, which is amazing to be honest. Just one of the many unexplained things in life I suppose, to meet the one person you want to spend the rest of your life with!

I think the Internet is an amazing place, It brings people together that would have previously never been able to speak and share ideas, this is amazing to me, people in my parents generation has to phone people, and to call people, you had to know them personally, where as now, a complete stranger can communicate about whatever topic might come up, they can see me on a webcam too, so they'd be able to see me laugh at their jokes or cry at sad stories, if we were really close at least (I don't usually just give out IM information willy nilly) but on public forums like blogs or chat rooms, they can definately choose to participate in a huge range of discussions.

I have friends online I have know for years, I have never met them in person, but they are people who I talk too a lot, and they are considered by me to be my friends... Are they though? I've never created a memory with them, never been to the pub or hung out with them, but still I consider them to be friends! I suppose it's not the physical that makes people connect it's the stuff they have in common, so maybe people are our friends because we consider a cirtain amount of subjects just as interesting as each other and we can chat for hours on our similarities, and our differences, and laugh and cry and have fun in one anothers company.

I don't know, most of this is babble to be completely honest with you, sorry about the complete lack of sense right here! lol

I hope to hear from you about your comments on the matter...

Work, and my day...

So it's been a whole day, I'm definitely getting better at this blogging malarkey, although it seems that my cat does not wish me to blog, he wants me to give him cuddles and fuss! Okay now he's moved, I shall get on with my blog, because it's much easier to type when you don't have a heavy cat on your arms, preventing you you from typing like a maniac!

I am just sitting about, now, after quite a pause, Because I signed into msn for the first time in WEEKS. Seriously I should sign in more, cause I get like 5 conversations asking why it is I'm not about! MSN is a crazy crazy IM, it keeps you in touch with people who you normally wouldn't see... Which makes me a happy bunny.

Today at work was the normal wasting time, finishing early, training affair that it has been since we started on Monday, it's been cool though for sure! The people are all still really chatty and it seems like a really chilled out place to work. I'm really enjoying it, it's just a shame it's a bit of a mission! It's not that bad it'd just be cool if it were in Brighton! c'est la vie

I hope you're not all bored to death, and I shall write a new blog sometime soon!

Hopefully I'll hear from you all soon!

Hello everyone...

I say hello a lot, I should start coming up with outrageous titles for my blogs, but I figure a nice hello is always a nice start to a blog, almost like starting the imaginary conversation you have with your readers, so maybe they say hello back... *hint hint*

Okay, so first of all I would like to say hello to all those new readers I have gained, over the past few days *waves*...

I'll bore you with my day first of all... 3rd day of training today, was excellent, started at 9.30am finished by 3pm. =) that's including our 2 hour freaking lunch break. Seriously short days are cool, although when we start finishing at 5pm I am going to be knackered! lol

Everyone is still really nice, so that makes the day much easier even if we are learning about car insurance.

I had loads of stuff to say when I started this, but I'm done for now, maybe I'll come back later on and make a few topical posts.

Hope everyone is well

A response to a blog post I checked out...

http://impressions-writingnotes.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html - this is the archive I cant work out how to link to the exact post (retarded moment I suppose) anyway, read June 17th, and then read this response.

What a wonderful idea, I completely see where it is you are coming from, I'm terrible, I've not ever sent out "thank you" notes, which makes me feel kinda terrible, but that's probably to do with my age more than anything.

It's just not part of our electronic society, we feel that a text or a message on a social networking site will do, but really nothing compares to a hand written note or letter.

When was the last time you received a hand written letter? I know it's been quite some time since I did, because we rely to heavily on the e-mail, but even that sometimes seems to be full of e-mails from mailing lists you've been put on, or from social networking sites, I cant remember the last e-mail I received with real words from a real person, that hasn't been sent to like 3 billion people also.

Anyway, I completely agree with this post, and I think we should all make a concerted effort to get out those post-it notes and totally send out the love or appreciation to those people who we almost take for granted in our lives!

Alice x

Shit guys...

Sorry about that, I could have carried on with that last post too! Oooops
Sorrrry!

I'm offically rubbish...

Updating everyday has gone completely out of the window right? Well at least when I write my blog, I'll have at least something to say and I won't struggle to work out exactly what it is i'm going to talk about for one entry, so maybe I'll do this thing once a week or something, or whenever it is that I get around to sorting it out, I don't want to just let the blog go to waste, like so many of my blogs before, so I will try harder (I promise)! Wait did I say that last time?

*scuttles off to check* hmmm... after a very very quick skim, I don't believe I did... heh! Winnar!

Right so as I said last time, I have now started my new job, I am working for a brand new car insurance company (well they will be doing car insurance initially, then moving on to motorbikes, and then commercial vans and stuff) wow, I guess you're not really interested in the company, if you've got this far, I guess you're interested in meeee! heh, how vain can I be? well, I guess, having people read your blog, and it being about yourself, all bloggers are a little vain, in that respect! heh! (no offence of course, blogging is awesome)

Anyhoo, because it's a new company, and they've not even launced to the public we are basically ginuea pigs for the whole sales floor, initially there will be 10-15 of us starting, they are all in my training, so it's wicked, we all get first dibs on parking spaces (not that I can drive), first aid training, and all sorts to be honest, it's wicked! Also, everyone starting seems to be really cool, i've made like a small group of friends, as groups naturally split at work right? You can't have a mass group it's too hard too build relationships on a one to one level, as I'm sure you understand, also, you can't have any kind of conversation in that big of a group... I don't know why I'm explaining it too you, guess talking bullshit comes second nature too me!?

Alright so, the people I've made friends with, have been wicked, I've got to know a guy called Jay and a girl named Bev most, also another girl who's name eludes me, it's kinda shit, but whatever, and another guy called Graham, I smoke with Jay and Graham, which is cool, we get to talk about the non girly bullshit girls wish to talk about sometimes, and I'm not really any good at it, I try, but I'm just not that interested, in desinger labels and famous people girls like/dislike, the list is pretty much endless, and frankly each to their own on that one! lol

There is this one guy in the group, who, I don't like as much as the others, obviously, I only started on Monday, so I can't be sure I dislike him or whatever, (i'm being diplomatic) but he just seems to not know the point in which it is good to stop and think before opening his mouth, the normal "engage brain, then talk" seems to not happen, he just says whatever, and a lot of the time it's not exactly polite, wether it's inapropriate doesn't seem to occur to him, and you can see the whole room rolling their eyes already, I'm not sure if it's his nerves or if he is just a bit dense in the social world, but frankly, if he carries on i'm sure he's not going to last long, especially as he is going to be working in telesales, and that shit doesn't fly when you're talking too customers...

Anyway, back to the positive stuff, because bitching on a blog really isn't great (as you never know who it is who's reading what you have to say, I'd never want someone to be hurt over something I wrote on a blog, and then have them not know what to say to my face, you know?), So positives so far are, I'm actually employed, and although my body hates me for having to be up at 7am, it's really nice to have somewhere to go and something to wake up for, it's also an awesome feeling to actually contribute to our living style, and make it a little more financially well off, now I know it's going to still be tight, but I feel less worried about how the bills are getting paid. I hate relying on other people, to pay shit like that, because it's just not what I'm used too.. and I was never brought up to totally rely on other people!

Another great thing is work is a great way to meet new people, who have something in common with you, even if it is work, it is a good way to network, and more friends is never a bad thing, more parties, with a more diverse group, what more could you want from life, friends and parties?! lol!

What else, oh yeah my fiancé introduced me to a program called Apophysis, it looks kinda complicated to use, but it's just a case of fucking about with the different settings, which is pretty cool to be honest, as you can create your own digital art with little effort, it's a freeware product, and it's great fun, and really creative, with tons of random templates for you to screw about with and create your own designs.... I did one of my own, which I uploaded to deviantart < that's not my profile, but I thought it only polite too give them a link as I'm mentioning another website! lol This is a first attempt, so it's not perfect, but I really like it, I've called it "through the looking glass" I know it's a huge cliché but really, what isn't these days?

What do you think is it any good? Leave me comments!

Anyway dinners nearly ready, so I will be offskies in a mo, so not much to bore you with, but my next post (which I might do tonight... I don't know just yet!) will be links to shit I found through stumbleupon that interested me/made me laugh or I just plain liked! Which I figure you guys will all enjoy, as, you're reading about me, so you might be a little interested in what it is I have to say and what sites I enjoy!

Well take care you guys, I will write again soon, I'm sorry again for being a slacker, I try not too be but starting a new job has made me a little tired!

Take care and lots of love

Woah it's been ages...

I forgot to update, I suck! lol
It's been a busy past few days, so lets start with Saturday the 2nd:

It was my mum's house warming, it was a great party, we were not only celebrating her new home, but it was nearly my brothers 16th, so we totally had a massive crowd that turned up, We also had a 6 day old baby, asleep for the whole party, but she was cute, then I was told off for playing with the slightly older baby Saron, he was totally awesome, really smiley and bouncy, just about crawling, and i was told I would get ideas! lol
There were so many people there, it was hard to keep up on all the conversations, but it was awesome, didn't get all that many pictures as we were too busy chatting to everybody! Next time I will definitely try harder to get lots of pictures for you!

Next up Monday the 4th:

Was my cousin Leigh's 13th birthday, she had a BBQ, with a few of her friends, and a ton of other people, who I hadn't seen for a while, which was nice, we left early, but there was a load of pictures taken on my mum's boyfriends camera, I will get those pictures next time I see my mum! lol

Then Tuesday the 5th:
My Fiancé and I went into town to check to buy presents for Christopher, nothing special, but that's just because we have no money atm... but I'm going to get him a watch when I get paid! lol
Was my brother Christopher's 16th birthday, my Fiancé and I just went over to my mum's for dinner, which was nice, to be honest, just chilled out (kinda) anyway, we got to see Chris, and watch him open his presents! Nothing special, seeing as he had a party on the Saturday with all his mates!

And from then on, not a whole lot has happened to be honest with you, it's been chilled out, for the most part, watched a few movies, and played on my DS, hung out with my Fiancé, you know day to day stuff really, but it's been good!

Well that's about it, really, looking forward to the new job, will be starting on Monday, can't wait to regale you with stories of who I will be working with! lol

Okies take care all, speak to you all soon!
