Asking for advice

Now, sometimes, I wish to write a blog but I don't have any particular topic to talk about, so I decided today I would ask people to get in touch and let me know what it is they're interested in and I will get to it do some research and have a go!

Today I asked my Fiancé what I should write about, and I realised even on this grey Friday I have a ton of stuff to talk about, even though it's only mid day and I've not done a whole bunch yet! I guess sometimes you just need a little of someone else's perspective!

Today I have called in sick to work, feel a little guilty, but frankly we're not doing much at all, and it seems like a little bit of a waste of time, so instead I have stayed home with my gorgeous fiancé! I've been molested by my cats, they are so cute, but also so god damned irritating!

Today the weather is absolutely gross, it's about to rain I think...

Haha, okay so like a whole 8 hours later I'm gonna finish off this blog post...

It did rain, and I slept all afternoon...

So i've run out of blog stuff, cause like, I stopped in the middle of blogging...

have a good one guys!

Nothing like a days work to keep you blogging!

Bahahahaha, I've been at work... but seriously, they're just filling time till launch! It's all pretty lame to be honest, but what are you going to do!? I spent most of the day drawing flowers, I'd show you a picture but I've not scanned anything in a while and frankly I'm lazy! lmao, most of my friends have seen said flowers, it's all kinda similar to one of my past posts with the canvas work I did! Go check it out some time! It's kinda pretty!

So I'm sitting at my desk chilling out, and I'm watching the wonder years, isn't that interesting for you guys to read about?

How many of you guys actually read what I'm saying because in my last entry, I asked to find out who you are, yet, no one actually had commented! (Well minus my fiancé, and I live with him!!) Shockingly I thought the response would actually be a bit longer, you know, a few hello, check out my blog, I don't even ask for you to write in a confermation code... Well c'est la vie, I thought it might be a cool thing to check out different peoples blogs!

Although I have noticed that a whole lot of bloggers post a lot of pictures of places they've been and the people they met and their own families, it makes me think that I don't take enough pictures of the people and places I go every day... Perhaps oneday I will take my camera to work and show you a day in the life of Alice, I know it's not exciting, but some of the places I see every day are pretty cool! (Although if I do, do that I'll have to leave earlier to make sure I have time to show you how peacefull it can be! lol)

This morning, was a wet one, it was horrid, then just as I got to the top of the hill I walk down to get to the station, there was rain, and clouds, and blue sky and sun, it was like all the elements had decided to hold a party... It was pretty awesome! I will try and get a picture of that particular view sometime soon!

Okies, I hope to see you all soon!

Lots of people try to tell this story but no one really knows the ending!

Well, maybe that's not really true, I mean I know the ending, and so do many others, it's end is of little significance anyway, because that's not what makes a story, it's all the bits in between that keep us alive, and that keep us interested! Why would a blog be interested if we all knew where the story ended?

Here we are more concerned with the here and now, the nitty gritty, the drama, the pain, the heartache and the love stories... Blogger is indeed a place that is full of those things, everyone is competing for each others attention, far to concerned with how many viewers or subscribers they have, and not concerened with telling their stories! I need to stress the importance of this, because if I don't I feel I will lose the plot and start on a rant about something else!

Now I am here to tell you about my life, but most of you reading know about my life, I care dearly for my close friends, and I try hard to keep in touch as much a possible! But I sometimes feel I need to get it all out, you know, this is my therapy this is my solace, and this is the place I can rant or work out how it is I'm feeling...

I have quite a bipolar attitude on here, one minuet I'm ranting, and the next just chilling with my cats and completely losing the plot, I hope I'm not the only one out there who feels this way, I mean, If i am all be it, but I hope my fellow bloggers sometimes see the lack of story telling that actually goes on!

Now I'm not saying I am the best story teller, and I know I probably never will be, and I've also been quite lax on my attitude towards my blog, which is no use what so ever! Because without my posts, nothing gets done with the place, and I'll need to start all over again telling you where I'm at, and I'm pretty sure you all get bored with my long assed post rambling about nothing much! lol

Sometimes I wonder who actually reads my blog, sure I have google analytics which tells me the geographical location of my readers, but actually who are you? what are your blogs about? I know those are big questions from a small time blog like this but, I truely am interested in who it is that likes to read about me!?

Anyway, I'd like to finish up on this topic, and move on with my day!
Leave me a comment, if you read this far, you never know we might make friends! =)

Children behave, that's what they say when we're together...

and watch how you play, they don't understand what we're doing!
Oh my that was on the radio this morning, been stuck in my head all day! I suppose it's just one of those things, you try to get it out and you just can't! It's been bugging me a little bit!

So today at work was fine, another early finish, you gotta love training and it being all over the shop! lol We get to spend a lot of time chatting with the other people in the group, which is really nice, because obviously we have to get too know them as we'll all be working together!

I'm seriously lacking on stuff to say right now, so I'm off to go find something to talk about tomorrow!

Me talking pictures of my cats! =)

I took some pictures of my puddy tats, so I thought I'd share with you all! =)

This is Howie, he is huge, but only a year and a half old, and he's not stopped growing yet!

And these two are of poppy she is Howie's mum. She's so much smaller, and people always get confused because she's half the size of her son! lol

An old man turned 98, won the lottery and died the next day...

Blogs title from Alanis Morrisette - Ironic, Oh those of you who know me well will know this already, but you should definitely check it out, if you've not heard it, because you've been living under a rock or something! Seriously this is a over played song!

So back at work today, had a day starting at 10am, finishing at 4pm, and today we learnt about, policy wording, woah it was totally amazing! lol Seriously, I can't tell you how riveting it was, I nearly passed out a few times today, plus we sat in a dark room, so we could see the projector, so I spent most of the time with a headache! Lame =(

So right now, I'm watching the simpsons and sitting next to my wonderful fiancé, he has been so supportive of me over the past few weeks, driving me too and from work, and I love him so much, sorry to be gushy, but I suppose I can be sometimes, as long as my whole blog isn't on the topic of me loving him! heh! He is the most amazing man, and he is everything that I could ever wish for in a partner (and eventually in a husband)!

When I think of more to say I'll be back, probably today, when I figure out what it is I want to rant about! =)
See you soon

Attention attention, may I have all your eyes and ears...

Lol, Yay for random song lyrics, seriously, if your interested that comes from The academy is... - Attention attention.

Right, so today I slept till 1pm, so i've not really been up to much, so I'm going to use today's blog to tell you what i've found using stumbleupon which you should all go get, because it's awesome! =) and you can give me a big thumbs up! =) Go on, you know you want too!

Okay so first of all I will start with a video now this video, in my opinion is the video to end all videos, you'd thing that these people have better things to do with their time, but apparently not! lol, well I loved it, let me know what you think!

And this is just a silly site and it tells you what was at number one when you were born I happen to know what was number one on my birthday, because my mum remembers, it was you win again by the bee gees, I was so not impressed, but what can you do? But this is the first one online that has given the correct answer, but you should check it out! And it does the chart for England and the US, so it'll tell you what else was at number one across the ocean! =)

And finally a news story this is a story about snails, who have been subject to graffiti by a London artist! I love this, it's such a random thing, but so well done, although I don't know enough about the snails to know if it's bad for them, I think it's an awesome comment on today's graffiti artists!

And that's my blog entry for today, hope you enjoy those links, and I shall hope fully see you all tomorrow! =)

Breathe in for luck...

Well today has been eventful... I went to work at 9.30 am and finished work at 12.30pm, pretty short day, we didn't even have lunch at work, was pretty awesome to be honest, and we still had a 20 min break in the middle, I have loved this first training week, has been so chilled out, and on Monday we don't even start until 10am! I have also applied to be a first aider so that's also pretty awesome!

I don't have much else to say on the work matter and the day is by no means over, I think we might have friends over, I'm not 100% sure though as nobody has actually confirmed, they have just said "maybe" so maybe we will, maybe we won't! lol

So, instead of boring you senseless I am going to talk about e-relationships, as you know, I have a fiancé, he's awesome, and I love living with him, and we actually met through the Internet, now I know that sounds clichéd or whatever but actually not on a dating site, and we only spoke briefly online before we actually met up, because it was an open invitation to alternative people in our local area, only about 5 people turned up, but it as a good night out, and I met the love of my life, which is amazing to be honest. Just one of the many unexplained things in life I suppose, to meet the one person you want to spend the rest of your life with!

I think the Internet is an amazing place, It brings people together that would have previously never been able to speak and share ideas, this is amazing to me, people in my parents generation has to phone people, and to call people, you had to know them personally, where as now, a complete stranger can communicate about whatever topic might come up, they can see me on a webcam too, so they'd be able to see me laugh at their jokes or cry at sad stories, if we were really close at least (I don't usually just give out IM information willy nilly) but on public forums like blogs or chat rooms, they can definately choose to participate in a huge range of discussions.

I have friends online I have know for years, I have never met them in person, but they are people who I talk too a lot, and they are considered by me to be my friends... Are they though? I've never created a memory with them, never been to the pub or hung out with them, but still I consider them to be friends! I suppose it's not the physical that makes people connect it's the stuff they have in common, so maybe people are our friends because we consider a cirtain amount of subjects just as interesting as each other and we can chat for hours on our similarities, and our differences, and laugh and cry and have fun in one anothers company.

I don't know, most of this is babble to be completely honest with you, sorry about the complete lack of sense right here! lol

I hope to hear from you about your comments on the matter...

Work, and my day...

So it's been a whole day, I'm definitely getting better at this blogging malarkey, although it seems that my cat does not wish me to blog, he wants me to give him cuddles and fuss! Okay now he's moved, I shall get on with my blog, because it's much easier to type when you don't have a heavy cat on your arms, preventing you you from typing like a maniac!

I am just sitting about, now, after quite a pause, Because I signed into msn for the first time in WEEKS. Seriously I should sign in more, cause I get like 5 conversations asking why it is I'm not about! MSN is a crazy crazy IM, it keeps you in touch with people who you normally wouldn't see... Which makes me a happy bunny.

Today at work was the normal wasting time, finishing early, training affair that it has been since we started on Monday, it's been cool though for sure! The people are all still really chatty and it seems like a really chilled out place to work. I'm really enjoying it, it's just a shame it's a bit of a mission! It's not that bad it'd just be cool if it were in Brighton! c'est la vie

I hope you're not all bored to death, and I shall write a new blog sometime soon!

Hopefully I'll hear from you all soon!

Hello everyone...

I say hello a lot, I should start coming up with outrageous titles for my blogs, but I figure a nice hello is always a nice start to a blog, almost like starting the imaginary conversation you have with your readers, so maybe they say hello back... *hint hint*

Okay, so first of all I would like to say hello to all those new readers I have gained, over the past few days *waves*...

I'll bore you with my day first of all... 3rd day of training today, was excellent, started at 9.30am finished by 3pm. =) that's including our 2 hour freaking lunch break. Seriously short days are cool, although when we start finishing at 5pm I am going to be knackered! lol

Everyone is still really nice, so that makes the day much easier even if we are learning about car insurance.

I had loads of stuff to say when I started this, but I'm done for now, maybe I'll come back later on and make a few topical posts.

Hope everyone is well

A response to a blog post I checked out...

http://impressions-writingnotes.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html - this is the archive I cant work out how to link to the exact post (retarded moment I suppose) anyway, read June 17th, and then read this response.

What a wonderful idea, I completely see where it is you are coming from, I'm terrible, I've not ever sent out "thank you" notes, which makes me feel kinda terrible, but that's probably to do with my age more than anything.

It's just not part of our electronic society, we feel that a text or a message on a social networking site will do, but really nothing compares to a hand written note or letter.

When was the last time you received a hand written letter? I know it's been quite some time since I did, because we rely to heavily on the e-mail, but even that sometimes seems to be full of e-mails from mailing lists you've been put on, or from social networking sites, I cant remember the last e-mail I received with real words from a real person, that hasn't been sent to like 3 billion people also.

Anyway, I completely agree with this post, and I think we should all make a concerted effort to get out those post-it notes and totally send out the love or appreciation to those people who we almost take for granted in our lives!

Alice x

Shit guys...

Sorry about that, I could have carried on with that last post too! Oooops
Sorrrry!

I'm offically rubbish...

Updating everyday has gone completely out of the window right? Well at least when I write my blog, I'll have at least something to say and I won't struggle to work out exactly what it is i'm going to talk about for one entry, so maybe I'll do this thing once a week or something, or whenever it is that I get around to sorting it out, I don't want to just let the blog go to waste, like so many of my blogs before, so I will try harder (I promise)! Wait did I say that last time?

*scuttles off to check* hmmm... after a very very quick skim, I don't believe I did... heh! Winnar!

Right so as I said last time, I have now started my new job, I am working for a brand new car insurance company (well they will be doing car insurance initially, then moving on to motorbikes, and then commercial vans and stuff) wow, I guess you're not really interested in the company, if you've got this far, I guess you're interested in meeee! heh, how vain can I be? well, I guess, having people read your blog, and it being about yourself, all bloggers are a little vain, in that respect! heh! (no offence of course, blogging is awesome)

Anyhoo, because it's a new company, and they've not even launced to the public we are basically ginuea pigs for the whole sales floor, initially there will be 10-15 of us starting, they are all in my training, so it's wicked, we all get first dibs on parking spaces (not that I can drive), first aid training, and all sorts to be honest, it's wicked! Also, everyone starting seems to be really cool, i've made like a small group of friends, as groups naturally split at work right? You can't have a mass group it's too hard too build relationships on a one to one level, as I'm sure you understand, also, you can't have any kind of conversation in that big of a group... I don't know why I'm explaining it too you, guess talking bullshit comes second nature too me!?

Alright so, the people I've made friends with, have been wicked, I've got to know a guy called Jay and a girl named Bev most, also another girl who's name eludes me, it's kinda shit, but whatever, and another guy called Graham, I smoke with Jay and Graham, which is cool, we get to talk about the non girly bullshit girls wish to talk about sometimes, and I'm not really any good at it, I try, but I'm just not that interested, in desinger labels and famous people girls like/dislike, the list is pretty much endless, and frankly each to their own on that one! lol

There is this one guy in the group, who, I don't like as much as the others, obviously, I only started on Monday, so I can't be sure I dislike him or whatever, (i'm being diplomatic) but he just seems to not know the point in which it is good to stop and think before opening his mouth, the normal "engage brain, then talk" seems to not happen, he just says whatever, and a lot of the time it's not exactly polite, wether it's inapropriate doesn't seem to occur to him, and you can see the whole room rolling their eyes already, I'm not sure if it's his nerves or if he is just a bit dense in the social world, but frankly, if he carries on i'm sure he's not going to last long, especially as he is going to be working in telesales, and that shit doesn't fly when you're talking too customers...

Anyway, back to the positive stuff, because bitching on a blog really isn't great (as you never know who it is who's reading what you have to say, I'd never want someone to be hurt over something I wrote on a blog, and then have them not know what to say to my face, you know?), So positives so far are, I'm actually employed, and although my body hates me for having to be up at 7am, it's really nice to have somewhere to go and something to wake up for, it's also an awesome feeling to actually contribute to our living style, and make it a little more financially well off, now I know it's going to still be tight, but I feel less worried about how the bills are getting paid. I hate relying on other people, to pay shit like that, because it's just not what I'm used too.. and I was never brought up to totally rely on other people!

Another great thing is work is a great way to meet new people, who have something in common with you, even if it is work, it is a good way to network, and more friends is never a bad thing, more parties, with a more diverse group, what more could you want from life, friends and parties?! lol!

What else, oh yeah my fiancé introduced me to a program called Apophysis, it looks kinda complicated to use, but it's just a case of fucking about with the different settings, which is pretty cool to be honest, as you can create your own digital art with little effort, it's a freeware product, and it's great fun, and really creative, with tons of random templates for you to screw about with and create your own designs.... I did one of my own, which I uploaded to deviantart < that's not my profile, but I thought it only polite too give them a link as I'm mentioning another website! lol This is a first attempt, so it's not perfect, but I really like it, I've called it "through the looking glass" I know it's a huge cliché but really, what isn't these days?

What do you think is it any good? Leave me comments!

Anyway dinners nearly ready, so I will be offskies in a mo, so not much to bore you with, but my next post (which I might do tonight... I don't know just yet!) will be links to shit I found through stumbleupon that interested me/made me laugh or I just plain liked! Which I figure you guys will all enjoy, as, you're reading about me, so you might be a little interested in what it is I have to say and what sites I enjoy!

Well take care you guys, I will write again soon, I'm sorry again for being a slacker, I try not too be but starting a new job has made me a little tired!

Take care and lots of love

Woah it's been ages...

I forgot to update, I suck! lol
It's been a busy past few days, so lets start with Saturday the 2nd:

It was my mum's house warming, it was a great party, we were not only celebrating her new home, but it was nearly my brothers 16th, so we totally had a massive crowd that turned up, We also had a 6 day old baby, asleep for the whole party, but she was cute, then I was told off for playing with the slightly older baby Saron, he was totally awesome, really smiley and bouncy, just about crawling, and i was told I would get ideas! lol
There were so many people there, it was hard to keep up on all the conversations, but it was awesome, didn't get all that many pictures as we were too busy chatting to everybody! Next time I will definitely try harder to get lots of pictures for you!

Next up Monday the 4th:

Was my cousin Leigh's 13th birthday, she had a BBQ, with a few of her friends, and a ton of other people, who I hadn't seen for a while, which was nice, we left early, but there was a load of pictures taken on my mum's boyfriends camera, I will get those pictures next time I see my mum! lol

Then Tuesday the 5th:
My Fiancé and I went into town to check to buy presents for Christopher, nothing special, but that's just because we have no money atm... but I'm going to get him a watch when I get paid! lol
Was my brother Christopher's 16th birthday, my Fiancé and I just went over to my mum's for dinner, which was nice, to be honest, just chilled out (kinda) anyway, we got to see Chris, and watch him open his presents! Nothing special, seeing as he had a party on the Saturday with all his mates!

And from then on, not a whole lot has happened to be honest with you, it's been chilled out, for the most part, watched a few movies, and played on my DS, hung out with my Fiancé, you know day to day stuff really, but it's been good!

Well that's about it, really, looking forward to the new job, will be starting on Monday, can't wait to regale you with stories of who I will be working with! lol

Okies take care all, speak to you all soon!

I love Blogger, But...

There seems to be a tiny thing wrong with the "next blog" feature.

As you can all tell, I am a English speaking individual, I can only speak English, I am aware some of you people are bi-lingual, but sadly I am not one of those people. =(

I completely understand people from other countries will write their own blog in their native language, but could there be a check box feature, that allows you to only receive blogs of the languages you speak!?

As you have check boxes you can choose more than one language, and at set up, you know the most part of what kind of content you are going to be submitting, so if you are going to be writing about your own life, you're probably going to be doing it in your native language, if you are going to be mostly publishing pictures, you can choose a "universal" check box, obviously, it's would be one of the settings you could change later on, if you want...

But it just annoys me that I have to filter through a lot of content I can't even understand, and makes me feel a little like I can't be arsed to filter through and check out other peoples blogs. Which makes for a poor community. =(

Also I reckon there should be a forum, to bring people together, I don't get nearly enough traffic for it to be successful but I hope someone sees this and sees the light as it were!

=)

Maybe I was a...

Little hasty, I felt like my head was about to explode yesterday, but today, after a whole ton of sleep, I feel much better!

Yesterday I slept pretty much all day, watched some TV then went to bed... it was quite a chilled out day (perhaps a little too laid back), I won't be getting that hammered for a while, I think my body gave up on me. lol

I'm currently watching daytime telly which is fairly interesting right now, because the programme is about religious cults, it's interesting the lengths people go to, too be part of these extreme circumstances. They will remove themselves from friends and family, and they will move half way across the world, how do groups like this grab hold of such power over people, it doesn't seem possible to control other human beings, they have free speech and independent thought, but yet, they will just follow like sheep off of a cliff when brought into this kind of circumstance.

Tuesday, 29 July 2008

I'm never drinking again

Seriously, I feel fucking awful.

Sunday, 27 July 2008

Telly...

Seriously, what the fuck is it with Sunday telly?
I know like half the population of England no longer attend church, and I'm not middle aged, so I don't wish to do DIY or go to a garden centre, so what the fuck is it with Sunday telly? Telly is supposed to relieve you from boredom not make you want to scratch your eyeballs out and curl into a ball...

You would think that seeing as this is the weekend, and this is the time most people have off during the week they would pack loads of cool stuff into these two days... but no, they just play re-runs all day... And when they're not playing re-runs they're putting on crap like "the heaven and earth show" or "songs of praise" seriously, I'm an agnostic, and struggle enough trying to explain my beliefs, I don't wanna watch your evangelical crap, presented by has been ex singers.

Also, why is it that fifth gear is just so shit... Top gear is just so much better... Top Gear Dog rules, doesn't like cars, and pukes on James May, hilarious! lol

1.30am

hello, I figured I'd pop on while the fiancé is napping before bed!

So I've only been away a few hours, to be honest, nothing much has happened, but I've watched two movies and I'm watching a documentary, about Comic books, and about who created spiderman, Steve Dikco, apparently did, not Stan Lee, although, I know nothing about comic books and who created what or who left where or when, but I did find it interesting, and I love pop art, and comic books are something I enjoy visually, although not in any depth, to be honest, I've never studied them, my brother, Chris, absolutly loves Marvel comics, I brought him a collectors edition marvel folder for Christmas, it was an awesome present, and he loved it!

Although this is by the by you don't care about that, although, you've read this far, so you might care a little about my life and my past, although to be honest, I guess you will find out as time passes, weird things about me, and maybe a few interesting stories too!

Okies, so the movies I watched tonight, from my PVR (we've been through this, it's like tivo or sky + but we don't pay a monthly subscription, please keep up) Blast from the past, now, I've seen this movie before, frankly, it rocks, it's an awesome movie, okay nothing too heavy, I do watch serious movies, but I like my whimsical stuff too, anyway, for those of you who've not seen it, it's about a scientist (clever, but totally mental) in the 60's who takes his family into a Neculear shelter, that he built, during the cold war, anyway, they stay down there for decades, and then they send the son up to the surface (something he's never seen as he was born in the shelter) and it's about his story... it's pretty awesome!

And the other movie I watched was Eurotrip, and I'm from England... and jesus christ, was it a shitty film, about shitty things, It was the Trashiest, lamest plot line, with not only shit actors, just horrible horrible americanised stereotypes, Amsterdam for example: drug taking sex addicts.... wtf... it irritated me, these people have obviously never even spoken to a european... I don't think of myself as European, I class my self as English or at a push British... European, is more of a mainland Europe thing, but the point is, that kind of film promotes negative stereotypes. I just don't see how that kind of film can be popular... also that guy on the train, really wasn't funny... and a horrible take on the hostel train guy, and to be honest, Hostel wasn't even that great to begin with...

Blah enough ranting on the shittyness of that particular film, and enough from me...

I can hear Marvin snoring (is it bad when even the people inside your head are bored to shit by what you have to say?) G'night Marv

G'night guys!
Take Care

Saturday, 26 July 2008

Hello!

Damnit, I've tried starting my blog like 10 times in the past hour... and i've successfully got this far, In the hour that I have set up a digg account for this blog, I have digged my fiancés blog, and I've added ads as you have probably seen, exciting huh?!

So back to the everyday stuff, (I only got distracted a little bit then, you wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't mentioned it, but I know I was, so you must too! and again) this is the longest time I've ever taken over this much text, this is a pretty lame attempt at a blog, Marvin will be dissapointed.

How is Marvin you ask, Marvin is in my head people, why do you care? If you do, he says he's fine, honest.

I am not being watched while I blog by my fiancé, he is awesome, but sometimes he can be rather distracting, when I'm trying to get stuff done, as I share his Desk, I can see what he's doing, and most of the time he is doing more interesting stuff than me, or I'm just being a nosey cow, to be honest, it's mostly the latter! Fun stuff!

How come, when you're sitting next to someone who is online, they seem to always be doing much more interesting stuff, even if it's just a case of checking out their facebook (which always has more comments than yours) or adding new comments to things, and I always seem to get absorbed into reading something if someone else is reading it first...

My fiancé love me sitting next to him, I've just been told this, he says it's great because he can put me off and make me lose track of what it was that I was doing. I find it highly irritating at times, because I had things I wanted to do, but can't remember for the life of me what it was I was going to say or do, which is annoying by anyones standards, but never mind, it'll come back (I hope) when my brain gets focused again, although, I'm drinking whiskey now, so chances are it actually won't!

Damnit, got distracted again, (by half life 2 if you're interested) this blog entry is falling on it's arse right now, because I can't get into the flow of a proper writer, If I had a deadline I'd be screwed, thank god you people are still with me, and come here by choice or else I'd be fired! lol

Right, knuckle down Alice, bah I can't do it, you guys will just have to bear with the disjointed blog of an insane woman.

Okay so today, I was woken up by a call from my mum, she's awesome and was lending us her car, so we could go shopping, for food and such like, which is what we need to sustain our gaming and blogging, so you people can read up on all the stuff I am thinking about (this place is awesome for venting), we were suppose to go shopping on our own, but we ended up just going to Aldi with my mum, we got everything we wanted, and totally didn't buy anything we didn't need, and wasn't on the list! (go us!)

It was bloody warm out when we left the house, which is cool, although we bitched about the weather, it was nice, even for someone who usually avoids the sun like the plague, I'm a red head with a very pale complextion, and frankly I burn if I spend too much time in the sun, which sucks ass, I normally don't leave the house without factor 30 on, which is good for my skin, but not so great for speed of getting ready on hot mornings! lol

Anyway, I'm bloody hot and i am a bit tired of trying to concentrate, when I quite obviouly can't.
Hope you had a good day,
See you all again soon

2.22am and my little world

I'm not tired.. wtf guys?
Anyone have any ideas to make you go to sleep?
Seriously, I'm not sleepy, I should be sleepy, my fiancé is sick, and I'm not feeling 100% I feel pretty gross to be honest, but i'm alright, I've dosed myself up on Beechams cold and flu tablets, so that's helping!

I just finished watching Elizabethtown, we recorded it on our Humax (it's a PVR, or like a tivo for you american types) it was pretty epic to be honest, only confirmed that I definately want to do a roadtrip across america (or at least across a few states)! It was your normal chickflick affair, nothing too crazy, I wouldn't say it was ground breaking but a definate good film to watch with your girlfriend (you guys are hopeless with movies sometimes!) lol it was pretty cheesy though!

Sometimes I feel pretty odd just sitting here blogging, I don't know what it is, it's like writing to an audience, and I don't even know if I have one, I don't know how to explain it too you, but frankly, it's a bit odd, cause I might be talking to YOU but YOU might not exist, it might just be me chatting to my imaginary friends... Am I talking to my imaginary friends? Should I start naming you Bob, Eric, Frank, Lucy, Marvin, Janey, Mary... I could go on, but it's probably the 2.30 am paranoia kicking in, Anyway, it's nice to meet you, you guys, I figure that I can just rely on you always being here, maybe I will start adressing you people, so that I don't feel so weird blogging to myself! So, comment me people, so I know that I'm not really alone, and so I know you people are real! And So I don't start adressing the blog to Marvin, (isn't Marvin a cool name?) 2.30 is a good time for names apparently!

Hmm, I figure, if you're reading this far you have a longer attentionspan than I realised, and frankly, I salute you reading my 2am ramblings, I should stop mentioning the time, you know that it's freakishly late/early, depending on how you look at it, It's one of those "is the glass half full or half empty" situations.

Blogging is like letting go of nothing and everything all at once, you can take me for who I am, or you don't, I suppose if you like me you'll stick around and listen to my storys and schemes, and , if you don't you'll never return and become a part of my life so briefly I'll never know if I like you, or even if we could be friends!

For those of you who are sticking around, hello, I hope I'm not boring you, I know a few of my existing friends will have already found the blog, and read a little, and left never to return, but for those of you who are new friends, I can't wait to meet you, and learn something about you, I'm always here for tea and buscuits, and I'll always have an ear for you, if you have taken the time to read what i have to say, and sometimes maybe you'll read between the lines and realise, all is not what it seems, well maybe it is what it seems, because it's to early/late to lie, this is pretty much what I'm thinking, thus the randomness of it all! And I'm not talking about cheese kinda random I'm talking about the chaos of my thoughts.

Chaos of my thoughts, brings me to my next point, for those of you who are still reading (I have little faith that it's not just me and Marvin) My mind is pretty much always going at a million miles per hour, being inside my head is like being constantly in thought and motion, I see things as a creative person, I am not what you would call average, I try to fit in, but i'm always the person who is on the outside the window looking in on everyone else, I am never really 100% part of anyone group, i've always been the same. I find it hard to find my real place in society, I don't know why, but I have found my place with my fiancé, he is a great guy and we click, we have a 11 year age gap (sometimes 10), but when I'm with him, I just feel like I'm my real self, there is nothing better than knowing that no matter what happens, you have someone you truely love, without any question or real thought!

Marv, you still awake? Bah even the imaginary people have gone to bed, it's awful to be honest, now it's just me on my todd! lol

But seriously, I feel alive and myself, when I'm with my fiancé, something tells me deep inside that this is it, this is the only person I will ever be with, I will never be with another man, because I know that I am happy and at one with myself when I am with him!

I love him completely, and with everything I have, he will never leave my heart, because he is the whole world to me, and nothing can ever change the love that I have for him!

And on that rather soppy note, I am going to leave you, I apologise for the ramblings, and thank you for your patience, You are welcome to ramble to me anytime!

See you soon,
Alice

Another blog, because you all enjoy it!

Hello, how're you?
So I said I'd brought canvases, today, I used one of them, it's only small, but I feel happy with it now it's finished it's just a simple night sky idea, with a twist, of having bright colourful flowers mixed in with small stars in the distance, I like it for sure! I hope you do too!
As I said, I've been shopping with my fiancé, I got a load of bargains on tops, none of them cost me more than 3 quid, which is awesome! First off, I got a long green top with a scarf, which I thought might be cool for a night out, or work, it's good for both, so we will see!

The rest of the tops are just summer wear to be honest, I don't have much to say about them, but there is, detail on this one that says "variety of colour" which is a little weird, as it's green and black, so not exactly colourful, but I like it (obviously I like it, I brought it tbh)

Turquoise top, for summer, thought it was nice, has stars on it! =) yay!
Another Turquoise, and stars top, again, just for the beach or sunny days, i thought it was cool!
And finally on the clothes front, I'll let you see a picture of me in the white halter neck and the hot pants, so now you know what I look like, you can stop wondering! lol, Fun stuff!
Yeah the hot pants have a black background and white stars, which I thought was cool, also, can you see a bit of a theme emerging for this shopping trip? lol

Anyway, Back to normal service, I'm all out of pictures for this blog entry!

Right, back to links and stuff, just a couple today, I know a lot of you will have heard of stumble upon but really, you should install it and give me a big thumbs up! Here is the link, www.stumbleupon.com not only can you help me out, you can find a whole ton of stuff, that's interesting and funny! =)

Okay now this is listed in my bookmarks in a folder names "stuff that confused the heck out of me!" click here for insanity honestly, if you can tell me what the hell that is all about, then please do not hesitate to let me know, it's really bloody odd! =)

Anyway that's enough rambling and pictures for now, I hope you're all well

Shopping! =)

Today has been a good day, I got up, had a nice bacon sarnie for breakfast, which was lovely, had a nice chilled out afternoon in town with my fiancé, which was awesome!
Not only did I get new art supplies, an A3 sketch pad, and 2 small canvases, which is great, I already started in the A3 sketch pad, I will show you some of my stuff, when I've actually completed some of the peices! lol I also went and got some bargains in Primark, some hotpants which are black with white stars, and I also got a white halter, and 3 other tops, I will get pictures of them all tomorrow, it's far too late to be pissing about with the camera! lol
We had a chilled out afternoon, and even had a half of Leffe in the pub, which was nice!
anyway, I'm not really in the mood right now, so I'll update this tomorrow!

Hello there!

I've been stumbling for the past few days, which is lovely, you find all kinds of stuff that no only interests me, but a whole ton of stuff that confuses and entertains! Now I'm English, as you've probably worked out, as I've said that stuff in my about me!

Now what have I found? Well, I've found all kinds of things, I suppose here is a start, I park like an idiot.com Which is not only entertaining it's something we can all relate too, although I'm pretty sure a few of those have the sticker photo-shopped on! Anyway, That's my link of the day, because I want to start off with something not so serious, now I know, that it's just a blog, that no one is reading just yet, but I still don't wish to start off with something that bores the hell out of you, and makes you want to scratch your eyeballs out, I'm actually a nice friendly person, and I'd rather keep you on my side for now! lol

Another place you should check out, is a fellow blogger (is that the correct term, or is it b-logger I have no idea to be honest, and I'm sure you don't care about my whitterings, lets move on), my fiancé's blog to be exact, and here would be that link diadoart.blogspot.com I love his work, he is always updating and changing, and I'm sure if you ask nicely, he might even sell you some stuff, if you like it a lot! lol (actually I'm cirtain!)

Today, has been fairly quiet, but, my mum called about 5ish, and she invited us to the beach, Fiancé didn't want too come, which is fine, so my brother, my mum, and I all went for a quick drive to the beach in hove, we took the frisbee, but didn't play, we sat and chatted for a few hours, we even had a picnic, which was lovely, caught up on my brothers life, which makes a change because he's nearly 16 and normally off out about about with his friends (or hanging in his room) because that's what 16 year old boys do! =)

On the drive home, we sang to Alanis Jagged little Pill, which always makes me smile, from ear to ear, because it's a wicked album!

Anyway, that's enough rambling, for now at least I will leave you be, and let you get on with your life.

Hopefully see you soon

A new Blog, A new Start!

Well hello there, good to see you, visiting my blog, aren't I a lucky bunny to have your audience, I hope you come back, and check out what I've been up too, and what I've been looking at online!

So a little introduction to me, I'm a red head, I have blue eyes, I'm about five foot one inch, which isn't very tall to be honest, but I more than make up for it, in personality, I think I'm fun and entertaining to be around (most of the time, I'm sure my fiancé could tell you a few stories!) I have a few close friends, and we like to get together and have a good few drinks and a dance (maybe two), all in all, I love to have fun! =) I am a smoker, now, I know all the risks, and I like to smoke, so don't go on about it, I'm sure I'll do a few rants about the smoking ban across the UK, bastard non smokers stealing the tables in the pub gardens, that they forced us into in the winter. but that's for another blog entry!

I've been engaged for about a year and a half, we plan to get married early next year, so I'm sure there'll be a few entries about dresses and shoes, and all that palaver, it's manic organising even a small ceremony, so I'll keep you all updated! And I'm sure I'll show you a few pictures, of things I'm planning to buy!

I'm going to be hard on myself, and try to update this blog as much as I can, far too many times, I've let blogs fall to the wayside, and this is a fresh start, with a new blog. Hopefully you guys will spur me on to write more often, and keep you all updated!

Now, Although I will be writing about myself, I'll also be featuring my favourite music, and favourite pictures and websites, so let me know about stuff you like too, we can be caring and sharing bloggers! =)

Anyway, that's my first entry for now, I'll give you all a break! =)
See ya around
